The Lamar Middle School 7th Grade B volleyball team dropped their season opening home match with Copperas Cove on Thursday by a score of 25-9, 25-21.
The Lady Bearcat Players of the game were Kaylynn Giles and Kenya Soto Quinones.
Lamar fell to 0-1 on the season.
The Lamar will return to action on September 4 when they travel across town to take on Bonham Middle School beginning at 5:00.
