The Lamar Middle School 8th Grade A volleyball team dropped their season opening home match with Copperas Cove on Thursday by a score of 25-12, 25-19.
The Lady Bearcat Players of the game were LaTearra Rivers and Isabella Bishoff.
Lamar fell to 0-1 on the season.
The Lamar will return to action on September 4 when they travel across town to take on Bonham Middle School beginning at 8:00.
