The 7th Grade A Football team traveled to Lake Belton HS to face North Belton MS. It was a tough outing for the Bearcats as they fell by a score of 33-0. Costly mistakes proved to be the difference, with six turnovers — three of which led directly to scores.

Despite the loss, there were bright spots. The Bearcats were able to move the ball offensively but struggled to finish drives. Defensively, Joshua Payne was all over the backfield. He was making tackles and give the Broncos problems up front. Jafari, Aadyn Linear, Zach Walker, Camden Grant, and Joshua Payne earned Players of the Game honors for their effort and performance.

The Bearcats will look to bounce back next week as they travel to Copperas Cove to take on SC Lee on September 29.
