The Lamar Lady Bearcats 8th Grade B volleyball team dropped their season opener on the road Thursday evening, falling to the Lake Belton Middle School Lady Tigers in straight sets, 25-9, 25-6.
Despite the hard-fought effort away from home, the Lady Bearcats struggled to find their rhythm against a sharp Lake Belton attack.
