In their highest-scoring game of the season, the 7th Grade A Bearcats put on an offensive show at home against Belton Middle School in an exciting, back-and-forth battle.

The Bearcat offense was firing on all cylinders, spearheaded by a dynamic performance from Luis Quezada. Channels of pure shiftiness and quick bursts made Quezada look like Barry Sanders out on the field as he gashed the Belton defense for over 150 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns on the ground. Adding to the highlight reel, Jeronimo La Rotha delivered a game-breaking moment with a kick return touchdown that brought the crowd to its feet.

Defensively, Jayse Whitted and Brian Santamaria set a relentless tempo along the interior line with aggressive play and hard hits. Behind them, the linebacker corps of Romeo Zuniga, Luis Quezada, and Jeronimo La Rotha played in complete sync, making solid tackles and locking down the edges all game.

With the outcome hanging in the balance late in the fourth quarter, the Bearcats mounted a final drive for the winning score. Despite a courageous late push, the comeback fell just short as Belton held on for a narrow 33-26 victory.
