The Lamar Bearcat 7th Grade B football team hosted North Belton Middle School at Woodson Field on Monday evening. Playing their first game of the season, the Bearcats fell to a tough Bronchos team by a score of 30-0.

Too many miscues on offense had Lamar on their heels all night. However, some bright spots throughout the game were Offensive Players of the Game, Jayden Vinson and Jacob Ellinger who ran the ball very well. The Defensive Players of the Game were King Miller and Jordyn Naylor who made multiple tackles. 

Lamar (0-1) on the season will return to play September 16 when they will travel to Bulldawg Stadium to take on Copperas Cove Junior High beginning at 5:00 pm.
