MCGREGOR - The Lamar Bearcat 7th Grade A football team earned a another tight victory on Tuesday night when they defeated River Valley by a score of 26-24.

The Offensive Players of the Game were Aakeem Abddeen with 2 rushing TDs, 4 tackles and Damian Mitchell-Ferris with 2 rushing TDs.

The Defensive Player of the Game was Dishann Overton with an interception and 2 pass break ups.

The Bearcats will return to action on October 21 when they will host Belton Middle School at Woodson Field beginning at 6:30.
