The Lamar Bearcat 8th Grade football team closed out the 2024 season with a battle at Wildcat Stadium against cross-town rival the Travis Science Academy at Wildcat Stadium. Unfortunately for the Bearcats, they fell to the Mustangs by a score of 44-12.

The Offensive Players of the Game were Sebastion Flores, Zyaire Flowers with a rushing TD and Markell Estrada a receiving touchdown.

The Defensive Players of the Game were Nate Jones, and Markell Estrada with an interception.
