WACO - The Lamar 7th grade boys track & field team opened the 2025 season by participating in the Waco ISD Invitational held at Paul Tyson Field on Wednesday.
Lamar finished in 6th Place in the team standings with 57 points with a field of eleven teams.
Damian Mitchell-Ferris was the top performer for the Bearcats with gold in the 200 and high jump while taking silver in the long jump.
