WACO - The Lamar 8th grade boys track & field team opened the 2025 season by participating in the Waco ISD Invitational held at Paul Tyson Field on Wednesday.
Lamar finished in 8th Place in the team standings with 23 points with a field of ten teams.
Zyaire Flowers was the top performer for the Bearcats with silver in the triple jump and a 4th place finish in the high jump.
