HEWITT - The Lamar 8th grade girls track & field team closed out the 2025 season as they participated in the CenTex District Track & Field Championships held at Midway High School on Tuesday.
The Lady Bearcats finished in 6th Place in the team standings with 23 points while Midway took 1st Place with 161 points.
The Lady Bearcats were led by Azaria Staples who earned a silver medal in the 200 meters while also earning a bronze in the 4x200 relay.
