WACO - The Lamar Lady Bearcat girls cross country team competed in the Central Texas Middle School District Championship on Wednesday at the HOT Soccer Complex in Waco.
In the 8th grade division, the Lady Bearcats were represented by Latreasia Gamble who took 55th Place and Juliette Shaw who placed 62nd. Gamble ran the 2-mile course in a time of 17:50 and Shaw in 18:16.
In the 7th grade division, Jazelle Hays-Calderon finished in 28th place and ran the course in 15:37.
