The Lamar Bearcat 8B Team opened up the season against in town rival Bonham MS. It was a tight game for the majority of the first half as both teams were going back and forth. But costly turnovers ended up dooming the Bearcats as the game got away from them in the second half and fell by a score of 30-13.

Leading scorer was #11 A'vontrey Glover with 7 points.

#5 Raymond Velasquez was relentless on the defensive side of the ball which earned him the player of the game.

The 8B team looks to regroup as they host Belton MS on Dec 5th at 6 pm
