TEMPLE, Texas — The Lamar Middle School 7th Grade Girls Cross Country team laced up their running shoes on Wednesday evening to compete against a tough regional field in the Broncho Middle School Cross Country Meet, held on the 2-mile course at Crossroads Park in Temple.

Lamar Lady Bearcat Performances

The 7th grade Lady Bearcats put forth a determined effort on their home turf, led by top team finisher Aaliyah Staples. While no Lamar runners earned a Top 20 finish in this competitive field, all five athletes battled hard through the 2-mile course to represent their school proudly.
