Lamar Lady Bearcats 8th Compete at Broncho Middle School Cross Country Meet

TEMPLE, Texas — The Lamar Middle School 8th grade girls cross country team traveled to Crossroads Park on Wednesday evening to compete against a tough regional field at the Broncho Middle School Cross Country Meet.

Lamar Lady Bearcat Performances

The Lady Bearcats were led by Sienna Williams, who delivered a strong run in the 2-mile race, crossing the finish line in 74th place overall with a time of 23:36.05.

While Lamar did not post a top 20 finish on the day, the team showed determination and steady effort across the board in a crowded field of competitors. All four Lady Bearcats completed the course as follows:

Central Texas Christian's Sophia Rocke posted an impressive individual victory, winning the 2-mile run by nearly two minutes over the rest of the field.
