TEMPLE, Texas — The Lamar Lady Bearcat 7th Grade B volleyball team dropped a hard-fought contest against SC Lee Junior High on Thursday evening at Bearcat Gym, falling in straight sets, 25-16, 25-7.
Lamar showed great energy early in the opening set, rallying through several long volleys and showcasing solid court communication. However, SC Lee pulled away late in the set behind consistent serving to take the early advantage. In the second set, SC Lee established control early from the service line, capitalizing on transition opportunities to seal the victory.

With the setback, the 7th Grade B Lady Bearcats fall to 0-4 on the season. Despite the outcome, the team continues to demonstrate progress in teamwork, serve reception, and front-court rotation with every outing.
