TEMPLE, Tex. — The Lamar Lady Bearcat 8th Grade A volleyball team hosted SC Lee Junior High on Thursday evening at the Bearcat Gym, falling to the visitors in straight sets, 25-15, 25-8.
Despite a hard-fought effort on their home court, the Lady Bearcats were unable to stem SC Lee's momentum in the second set.

Caylee Flores was named the Lady Bearcat Player of the Game for her standout effort and consistent play throughout the match.

With the setback, Lamar drops to 1-3 on the season.

The Lady Bearcats will look to bounce back on Thursday, September 24, when they travel to Hewitt to face Midway Middle School. First serve is scheduled for 6:30 PM.
