BELTON — The Lamar Middle School 7th Grade Girls Cross Country team competed Wednesday evening in the South Belton Middle School Cross Country Meet, held on the home course at South Belton Middle School.

Lamar Lady Bearcat Performances

The Lady Bearcats battled through a competitive field in the two-mile race, showing grit across the board.

Aaliyah Staples led the way for Lamar, delivering a standout performance to crack the Top 20. Staples finished 22nd overall with a time of 15:55.21, placing 15th among point-scoring runners for her team.
