BELTON, Texas — The Lamar Middle School 8th grade boys cross country team was represented on Wednesday evening as the Bearcats took part in the South Belton Middle School Cross Country Meet held at South Belton Middle School in Belton.

Eighth-grader Jordan Wells served as the sole representative for Lamar Middle School in the 2-mile run, competing admirably against a large field of runners across the region. Wells completed the course with a final time of 15:17.87, finishing 45th overall.

Wellborn Middle School showcased strong performances at the top of the leaderboard, securing four of the top five individual places.
