The Lamar 7th Grade B Bearcats kicked off their season against the South Belton Tigers in a tight defensive battle!

Lamar came out firing in the first half behind Player of the Game Carlos Silva, who was running wild on offense and giving the Bearcats a spark every time he touched the ball. Coupled with big stops from the Bearcat defense, Lamar trailed by just 6-0 at halftime.

Though the Bearcats put together promising drives, they couldn't quite finish them in the end zone, allowing South Belton to pull away late for the 18-0 win.
