Looking to build momentum and extend their winning streak to two games, the Lamar 7th grade football team hosted SC Lee on home turf. However, SC Lee came out hot from the opening whistle, proving to be too much for Lamar to handle as the visitors took control early on both sides of the ball.

Lamar refused to go down without a fight and found some juice in the second half. Jeronimo provided the game's biggest highlight, electrifying the home crowd by taking a kickoff return all the way to the house for a touchdown. Jakari Jones kept the momentum going on the ground, powering through the defense to punch in another touchdown for Lamar.

Despite the second-half surge, SC Lee's offense remained relentless, firing on all cylinders throughout the night to hand Lamar a 42-13 defeat.

Lamar will now head into the bye week to regroup, rest up, and refocus. They will return to action on Tuesday, October 13, when they travel to take on Lake Belton.
