The Lamar Lady Bearcat 7th Grade A basketball team hosted Copperas Cove Junior High at Bearcat Gym on Thursday evening.

Despite a strong second half showing for the Lady Bearcats, Lamar fell to the Lady Bullpups by a score of 29-11.

The Lady Bearcats were led by Offensive Players of the Game Kayliana Ward and Isabella Bischoff who each scored 5 points and Defensive Player of the Game LaTerra Rivers.

Also for the Lady Bearcats, Aaliyah Davis had 1 point.

Lamar will return to action on January 9th when they will travel across town to face Bonham at 6:00 pm.
