The Lamar Lady Bearcat 7th Grade A basketball team hosted Copperas Cove Junior High at Bearcat Gym on Thursday evening.

Despite a strong second half showing for the Lady Bearcats, Lamar fell to the Lady Bullpups by a score of 29-11.

The Lady Bearcats were led by Offensive Players of the Game were Sha'Kyhria Freeman with 10 points and Ma'Kayla Pendleton with 4 points.

The Defensive Player of the Game were Ashlea Hickey and Nicea Williams with 2 points.

Lamar will return to action on January 9th when they will travel across town to face Bonham at 7:00 pm.
