SALADO - The Lamar Bearcat 8th grade boys basketball team participated in the Salado Tournament on January 25th. Here is a recap of the games from Saturday's tournament in which the Bearcats took 3rd Place.

Lamar fell to Copperas Cove Junior High by a score of 46-33. The Players of the Game were Mehki Austin with 13 points and Zyaire Flowers with 12 points.

Lamar defeated North Belton by a score of 46-33. The Players of the Game were Zyaire Flowers with 20 points, Mehki Austin 10 points and Major Goodmen with 6 points.
