HEWITT, TX — The 2026 track and field season reached its peak on Tuesday, April 7, as the Lamar Middle School Lady Bearcat 7th Grade team traveled to Panther Stadium to compete in the Cen-Tex District Track & Field Championships.
The stakes couldn't have been higher at the Hewitt-based venue. This elite meet featured the "best of the best," consisting only of the top four finishers from the two Divisional Qualifiers held the previous week. In a field dominated by powerhouse programs, the Lady Bearcats showcased their grit against the premier talent of Central Texas.
